We care about you.
Everyone needs to know they matter — that they are seen, heard, cared for, and valued. That is part of what it means to be a community. So trust this: We care about you. And we want to be there for you, on the good days and on the bad days. If it matters to you, it matters to us. We are here to pray for you, support you, and show up when you need us.
Major Events + Emergencies
In the event of a birth, death, hospitalization, or other urgent event, we want to know as soon as possible. Call the church office at 803.771.4408. If no one is available to answer at the time of your call, follow the prompts to contact the pastor on call. We want to be there for you in life’s big moments.
Ongoing Care
All of our pastors offer care for those in our midst. We are glad to visit with you in hospitals, senior living communities, or at home. We will happily meet in our own offices or at one of the many coffee shops along Devine Street. If you prefer to walk and talk, we’ll lace up our shoes. Call the church office to connect with a pastor, or visit our staff page for direct contact information. And no, you don’t have to be a member for us to care about you or for you.
Deacons
Church members who are particularly called to caring ministries (and who are trained for and ordained into this role) also provide care for our community. Deacons are frequently paired with folks who appreciate being checked on every week or two. If you would like to be paired with a Deacon, contact Rev. John Cook, Associate Pastor for Discipleship.
